Answer
When Shazam recognizes a song, it is added to your Shazam Library: On iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, swipe left or tap the Library button to access your library of past Shazams. Recent Shazams will appear below the Shazam button on Mac.
How Shazam Works
Where can I find offline Shazams?Simply tap the blue button to identify a song if you’re offline. nnTap OK in iOS or Got It! in Android to complete the procedure. nnNext time you’re online, just open the app and hit My Shazam. nThe song will appear at the top of the list after it has been identified.
How do I get my old Shazams back?Use the same account to access your old Shazams on your Mac, PC, or with the Shazam app on another Android device. The email address you’re signed in with will appear at the bottom of the Settings page after signing in.
How do I see my Shazam history on Snapchat?Go to the Snapchat Settings screen, then choose Additional Services under Shazam. Select Shazam from the drop-down menu and click Allow. To see your previous Shazams on Snapchat, go to the Snapchat Settings screen, then tap on Shazam.
What has happened to Shazam?Apple has finalised its acquisition of Shazam and is making a significant change to the song-identifying app. For all users, the program will soon be entirely ad-free, allowing you to listen without interruption.
Is there a better app than Shazam? When you’re looking for an app that can identify music, the first competitor to Shazam you’ll come across is SoundHound. SoundHound, like Shazam, has a large orange button on its homepage to start tagging. SoundHound emphasizes voice controls as well, which it refers to as “Watson-style audio interpretation” (Watson was IBM’s computer system that won at Jeopardy!).
